PAVILIONS ON 1770

Nestled in the picturesque town of 1770 the Pavilions on 1770 resort is a residential development situated along the tree-lined beachfront dunes at Agnes Water in North Queensland.

Connected to the beach by a private bridge, the resort includes 78 apartments, each with spacious living areas that open out onto large balconies with ocean views.  The resort also features a caretaker’s residence, two large swimming pools with swim-out beaches, media and games areas, shade sails, and covered barbeque areas set within landscaped gardens featuring tropical Queensland plants.

Designed to capture ocean views and create a relaxed family atmosphere, the architecture of Pavilions on 1770 was kept simple and in line with Queensland coastal style, featuring deep roof overhangs and floating roofs. Internal light wells have been formed to allow more natural light into rooms and the basement car park to increase efficiency, and roof rainwater is captured and stored in tanks to use for landscape irrigation.
