In preparation for this years Art Show, our Brisbane studio were treated to an afternoon in the park with local Art Teacher Rachel Austin. Rachel, who runs Stones Throw Art offers art workshops for kids and adults across a range of mediums including drawing, painting, mixed media, printmaking and sculpture.

Staff were given three art class options - Picasso portraits, Kandinsky abstracts or Mixed media collage. With the majority of votes going to the Kandinsky abstracts, each participating staff member created an abstract composition of vibrant colour using a series of templates to provide design structure. Art works could be completed as watercolour or as oil pastels on black paper.
