JIMBOOMBA PARK REDEVELOPMENT

The $4.5 million Jimboomba Park redevelopment is part of the Logan City Council’s long-term plan to further develop the high priority growth area of Jimboomba. Guymer Bailey Architects and Guymer Bailey Landscape were engaged by the Council to design the masterplan for the site that will be delivered in stages for the benefit of the wider community. To ensure the masterplan would meet current and future needs and attract high calibre events to the Park, we worked closely with Council and local user groups throughout the formulation of the brief.

The first stage of the redevelopment, which is now complete, involved an upgrade of the existing sporting facilities including a new netball clubhouse, new change room facility for rugby league, new senior and junior league fields, and new car parking areas.

This stage also included the relocation of the existing pony club and the design of a new equestrian centre which is comprised of a clubhouse, undercover dressage arena, show jumping arenas, holding pens, wash bays, day yards and horse float parking to draw high-level equestrian events in the area.
