YARRABILBA SPORTS AND COMMUNITY HUB

Guymer Bailey Architects was engaged by the Logan City Council to design the Yarrabilba Sports and Community Hub to cater for the fast-growing community of Yarrabilba. Being a new community with no established sporting clubs, the centre needed to be flexible to cater for whatever association would like to occupy the facility.

Situated on the edge of Shaw Oval, the multi-purpose building has been designed to cater to the needs of a variety of sporting clubs from football to dance and bring locals together to celebrate their love of sport.

The Hub, with focus and orientation to the playing fields, features a multipurpose area that can be used by club or other community groups, change rooms, toilets and storage areas, as well as a first aid room, commercial kitchen and canteen, and two flexible external offices for leasing by small business or other community groups.
